Jim Lawrence...
Owner
Jim is nationally certified by RID with a Comprehensive Skills Certificate (CSC) and by Texas Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TCDHH) holding a Level IV. Jim has more than 25 years of interpreting experience in a variety of settings including medical school, medical, substance abuse, legal, psychiatric, educational and graduate level interpreting.
Jim is currently a board member for Illuminations Arts and services as a language coach for theatrical productions for the Deaf. Jim especially enjoys interpreting music. He also holds a degree in Theology.
Caryn DeSanta
Business Development Specialist
Caryn will most likely be your first contact with Accessible Signs as she is the choreographer for all your service needs. Caryn comes to us with an extensive background in social services. She has served as director for both profit and non-profit agencies.
Caryn holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management in addition to being a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. Caryn continuously strives to provide excellent services and will introduce you to our superior and total service system. She will be delighted to help you with all of your interpreting needs.

In addition to being our accounts payable/receivable, TJ holds National Certification with RID as an Intermediary Interpreter who specialized for 7 years working with the Deaf Blind community.
Texas does not have many Deaf
Nationally certified Interpreters and we feel quite fortunate to have TJ on our staff. Even with all his numerous duties he is still very active in the Houston's Deaf community and currently sits on several
Boards and committees
In addition to the full-time interpreters above, Accessible Signs also maintains contracts with over 90 certified interpreters in the Houston Area.
